The convention started with a business meeting in the morning. The afternoon consisted of a wonderful presentation by the Fathers at Mepkin Abbey, followed by a presentation by Father Roten. Afterwards, there was a wine and cheese reception for members of the FOTC.

FOTC made a donation to Mepkin Abbey for their excellent work in promoting the Creche with the annual Creche festival.

The nativity display at the Abbey was beautifully done. If you needed ideas to enhance the display of your own nativities, they were there.

The exhibit of nativities was beautifully designed. From unique sets to the more ordinary, each was given an environment that made it look special. It was great to have 2 of the artists there to talk to guests and answer questions. I got some good ideas about how presentation is such an important part of sharing a nativity. It was wonderful to walk through the exhibit and listen to the comments of our members. The wine and cheese reception was a wonderful way to end a great day!
